The OBP Screw-Type Brake Bias Valve allows the driver to precisely dial in brake bias. (Screw-Type bias valves allow more flexibility than detented lever-type valves, but they sacrifice repeatability.) This is a great tool for cars which must run a single master cylinder instead of two masters linked by an adjustable bias bar.
For most road racing applications, install the valve in the rear brake line to reduce the amount of pressure at the rear brakes and reduce rear lockup under heavy braking. Off-road and rally racers can install the valve in the front brake line to reduce front braking. Circle track racers can install the valve in the right front brake line to reduce understeer.
The maximum reduction of output pressure is approximately 60% of the input pressure. The aluminum housing has 3/8-24 female inlet and outlet ports. Adapters are provided to accept 3/16" lines with 3/8-24 inverted flare nuts.
