Wiring Harness for the EPAS500 Competition System
• 12V electric power assisted steering system.• MGU can be fitted anywhere in line between the steering wheel and rack input pinion.• System can provide up to 90Nm / 66 ft.lb of assistance, not including driver input.• Complete standalone system - only requires a 12v power supply to operate.• 5 x driver selectable steering maps via rotary switch.• Operating parameters and steering maps can be adjusted via free software.• Built in communication port, status LED and Anti-Vibration mounting feet.• Simple wiring connection via 3 flying leads.• IP66 Rated.
Designed with motorsport in mind, the EPAS500 Competition system is ideal for users not requiring the CAN Bus connectivity or power of our Ultra systems. Being IP66 rated and with built in anti-vibration mounts, it is perfectly suited to harsh environments, including open cockpit race cars and powerboats. Simple to install (only 3 wires to connect), the system also offers tuneable steering maps via our free software.
