This rectangular rain light from Cartek is homologated to the latest FIA 8874-2019 standard. It features 15 high-intensity red LEDs in a tough but lightweight plastic housing. The compact size (3 9/16" x 2 1/4") makes it easy to mount anywhere, either vertically or horizontally. The dual-function light can be wired to flash at 4 Hz or to burn steady. Add a DPDT switch (sold separately) to switch between modes, or add a brake light switch (sold separately) to use the steady mode as a brake light.

The 15 bright red LEDs are arranged in a 5 x 3 grid pattern. Each LED measures 9.5mm (3/8") diameter for an FIA-specified 40 square centimeter lighting surface. Multiple circuits ensure that even if any one LED is lost, the light will still meet FIA standards. Two stainless steel studs (M6 threads) on the back of the unit make mounting easy. The back of the housing is covered with a 3mm thick foam pad to absorb vibration. The 3-conductor cable also comes out the back of the housing, so a third hole may need to be drilled in your panel.

Runs on 11.3 to 15.6 volts DC power and draws 700mA at 12.5V. Made in the UK. FIA 8874-2019 homologated (RL.009.22), meets SCCA requirements for racing use. Not DOT approved for street use.
