OBP Brake Balance Bar Assembly, 7/16-20 Thread

Proper selection of master cylinder bore sizes is the most important factor in achieving correct brake bias. A balance bar is for fine-tuning the bias in the pits or, with the addition of an adjusting cable (sold separately), by the driver during competition.

This high quality adjustable bias bar from OBP incorporates a spherical bearing as the center pivot for smooth action. The anodized aluminum clevises accept standard master cylinder pushrods with standard 5/16-24 UNF threads. The included pivot sleeve (1 1/4" OD x 1 1/8" ID x 1 13/16" Long) must be brazed or welded to the brake pedal. The universal sleeve is extra-long (long enough for 2 13/16 inch master cylinder spacing) so you can trim it to whatever spacing you need.* Remote adjuster cables are available separately. * You can change to 2 1/2" spacing by trimming the sleeve to 1 5/8" wide, or to 2 1/4" spacing by trimming to 1 3/8" wide.
